Global award-winning communications agency COMCO Southeast Asia kicked off its 6th year celebration with the promotion of its homegrown talents, all of whom are proud graduates of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program.

Brand Communications Officer Janela Bufi has been promoted to Senior Brand Communications Officer. Janela or Jam is a graduate from Ateneo De Manila University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Information Technology Entrepreneurship – Minor in Marketing and a proud alumna of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program’s 5th cycle under House Whaleshark. Jam specializes in corporate, technology and healthcare PR and advocacy communications, as she worked for accounts such as Xiaomi, Teleperformance, Lista.ph, Licealiz Anti-Head Lice Shampoo, The Medical City – Clark, Unilab Foundation’s Play Advocacy Week and Bayanihan for Wellbeing Conference, and Hapee Kiddie and Gumtect toothpaste brands.

Senior Integrated Communications Associate Matthew Escosia is now an Integrated Commuications Officer. Matthew or Matt took up Bachelor of Arts Major in Broadcasting at the Trinity University of Asia and was a consistent Dean’s Lister. He is an alumnus of Camp COMCO’s Cycle 10 under House Bearcat and specializes in writing and content curation, serving as the Content Lieutenant of the Southeast Asian pop culture magazine SEA Wave. He has also worked for accounts such as World Vision, WWF, Lenovo, MR.DIY, Dragonpay, Codapay, and Essilor, as well as other key digital accounts like Defensil, Unilab Foundation, and Licealiz.

Finally, Alexandria Laberinto, COMCO SEA’s Digital and Multimedia Arts Associate has been promoted to Senior Digital and Multimedia Arts Associate. A consistent Dean’s Lister, Alexandria is a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design Major in Advertising Arts from the University of Santo Tomas. She specializes in traditional and digital arts illustration and graphic design, and was one of the recent graduates of Camp COMCO’s Cycle 14 under House Whaleshark.
