Bringing to life its continued commitment to help businesses emerge stronger in 2022, premier Philippine telecommunications company Eastern Communications has officially announced its footprint expansion in the provinces of Negros and Bicol.

In their consecutive “Via Eastern: Forging True Connections” virtual launches, Eastern Communications introduced its world-class products and services, ranging from connectivity, data, and collaboration solutions among the businesses in Bacolod City and Dumaguete City in Negros as well as Legazpi City, Naga City, and Sorsogon City in Bicol.

The expansion is part of the telco’s goal of democratizing technology in the country by becoming a one-stop shop for all connectivity and ICT demands across the country, as companies continue to strive and emerge stronger in 2022.

Early this year, Eastern Communications announced its Php 3 billion worth of capital expenditure for infrastructure improvement and countryside development.

“Our goal this year is to make digital technology as accessible as possible, especially to serve the underserved and unserved area in the country,” shared Eastern Communications Sales Head Michael Castañeda.

Eastern Communications introduced its Internet Direct Service (IDS), a premium and dedicated high-speed business-grade connectivity, and other borderless solutions such as Eastern Cloud, their business-grade cloud service that offers efficiency and collaboration, and Eastern Cyber Defense, a suite of premium cybersecurity solutions equipped by global partners such as Cisco, Fortinet, DOSarrest, among others.

Both activities featured notable guest speakers who shared insights to all attendees. Guest speakers Christina Marie Gaston, President of Association of Negros Producers (ANP) spoke about strengthening competence among MSMEs through leveraging social while Cookie Bartolome, who works in ABS-CBN and is a local Bicolana, tackled the digital shift and transformation of the traditional media giant.
