COMCO Southeast Asia - Camp COMCO Cycle 15 House Wars

COMCO Southeast Asia held its third virtual edition of House Wars, the culminating activity of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program, for the eight (8) apprentices of Cycle 15.

In three months, the latest virtual run of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program was able to conduct rigid trainings and workshops about New PR and Smart Social, PR Writing and Content Creation, Media Engagement, Content Planning, Strategic Communications, Brand Marketing and Presenting Techniques, as well as Insights Mapping and Ideation Process.

The apprentices were also immersed in the actual communications practice by working alongside their house stewards / co-mentors in the day-to-day operations of the Agency, including the mounting of its key Blazing Sapphire initiatives such as Write to Ignite Blogging Project and Cause Marketing for Good webinar.

In preparation for the House Wars competition, Cycle 15 were graced by Philo Chua of social enterprise and FMCG brand Theo & Philo Artisan Chocolates who briefed the apprentices of their assignment: a full communications plan for the Philippine chocolate brand.

In the recently concluded event, House Whaleshark ranked as 3rd Runner-up, followed by House Flying Fox as 2nd Runner-up, while House Hawksbill ranked as 1st Runner-Up and finally, House Bearcat was declared as the Grand Champion.
