The 6th year of COMCO is an exciting journey ahead with its expansion through COMCO Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Following its launch during COMCO SEA’s Blazing Sapphire anniversary event, COMCO MEA has opened its doors for new opportunities in the Middle East and Africa region. On their first year, COMCO MEA has already worked with Emirati and western brands such as Buono Buono, Nolte, Open Thrill, Paus, POPC Live!, Red Shrimp, TruCARE, Victor, and Yas Plaza Hotels.

This year’s PR Awards for the Asia-Pacific region organized by Marketing Interactive recently awarded COMCO SEA Leader Ferdinand Bondoy the Gold Award for PR Champion of the Year (Agency). Marketing Interactive’s PR Awards is the definitive awards programme for PR practitioners on both the client and agency side, designed to recognize outstanding work in the PR and communications industry across Southeast Asia, South Asia and ANZ regions.

“Dear Survivor: COMCO Southeast Asia’s Write to Ignite Blogging Project Season 2” and “Blazing Sapphire: COMCO Southeast Asia’s 5th Anniversary Celebration” also received finalist citations in the Best Use of Micro/ Niche Influencers and Best Anniversary Campaign categories respectively. PR Awards also recognized COMCO SEA as a finalist in the PR Team of the Year category

COMCO Southeast Asia’s flagship initiative “Dear Survivor: Write to Ignite Blogging Project Season 2″ which gathered heartwarming and inspiring stories all over the country is the winner of the much-coveted Purpose Award of the PRCA APAC Awards, besting other campaigns in the Asia-Pacific region.

COMCO SEA also received finalist citations in APAC for the Medium Consultancy Award, Workplace Champion Award, and Strategic Communications Award for the Blazing Sapphire 5th Anniversary Celebration campaign. Meanwhile, COMCO SEA’s Regional Integration and Chief Executive Director Mr. Ferdinand L. Bondoy is also one of the finalists for the PR/ Communication Leader Award.

PRCA APAC Awards 2022 is organized by the Public Relations and Communications Association Asia-Pacific (PRCA APAC), the world’s largest professional PR body representing more than 35,000 PR professionals in 70 countries worldwide and a global advocate for excellence in public relations.

The upcoming PR Awards Asia in Hong Kong, which celebrates the region’s most outstanding, inspired and successful campaigns, individuals and companies in the communications industry, shortlisted “Dear Survivor: Write to Ignite Blogging Project” for Best Use of Digital (COVID-19) and Mr. Ferdinand L. Bondoy for PR Agency Head of the Year as finalists for this year’s edition.

The Prospect Gold Standard Awards in Singapore also announced Mr. Bondoy as finalist for the Professional Excellence category. The CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Excellence Awards in the United Kingdom recognizes COMCO Southeast Asia as a finalist for Small PR Consultancy of the Year. The CIPR Excellence Awards is firmly established as the most prestigious awards in the public relations industry and for over 38 years, have truly reflect the best practice in communications. Recently, Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards 2022 in the Philippines shortlisted “Fearless: Nurturing Eastern Communications’ Employee Welfare Amidst the Pandemic” for the Corporate Leadership and Culture category.

COMCO SEA also made its mark in the 19th Philippine Quill Awards by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The Agency wins a total of 30 awards for COMCO SEA, Defensil, Eastern Communications, Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz, Jobstreet, SEA Wave Magazine, Unilab Foundation and World Vision.
