ComCo Southeast Asia through its Citizen ComCo advocacy initiative backs up its long-time NGO (non-government organization) partner World Vision on its health emergency response and its appeal to the public to help them support frontliners and the most vulnerable Filipino families in the battle against COVID-19.
The child-focused humanitarian agency warns the public that the children are not exempted from the effects of COVID-19 as there are reported cases of kids contracting the disease. Aside from that, the Filipino children are experiencing disrupted education and shortage of basic needs due to the lack of source of income of their families.
In response to this worsening problem, World Vision is actively providing support through several emergency response efforts such as distributing triage tents to the hospitals in the metro and giving out basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the frontliners.
But this is not enough, with your help, World Vision aims to provide Sanitation Kits that include alcohol, mouthwash, face mask, and reading materials about hygiene and handwashing to the families in need, supply Disinfectant Kits to the health facilities in the poorest of the poor communities, turn over additional PPEs to the medical workers and caregivers, and most importantly, bestow temporary income to the most vulnerable families through unconditional cash distribution.
By doing this, World Vision believes that we can ensure safety and the well-being of the Filipino children during the period of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

World Vision also calls everyone to include the safety of all in their prayers. Together, we pray for the peace of mind, resilience, and hope for everyone, and the strength, healing, and comfort of the people and families affected by the outbreak.
ComCo Southeast Asia is the official communications partner of World Vision in the Philippines. For World Vision’s emergency response to COVID-19 health crisis, Comco SEA also joined the NGO’s pool of corporate partners in helping the most vulnerable families in the country, as well as our frontliners. Through its Citizen ComCo advocacy initiative, ComCo SEA is committed to #IgnitingSocialChange as it continues to work on causes for children, environment, heritage and social entrepreneurship, in partnership with NGOs or initiated by the Agency.
