Trailblazing and globally award-winning communications agency ComCo Southeast Asia, as it continues its mark of excellence in the industry, has announced its recent staff promotions and talent acquisitions.

Its homegrown talents and pioneer ComCo Squadron, AC Recio (Digital and Multimedia Arts), Harvey Llamosa (Executive Initiatives) and Queenie Resmundo (Brand Communications) have earned accelerated promotion for their exemplary work in their respective accounts and fields of expertise as well demonstration of leadership qualities even at the early stages of their career. This is followed by the promotion of Patricia Rana (Finance and Administration) and appointment of Choco Nery and Joenald Dycaico (Digital Content Studio).

Accelerated Promotion of New Associate Managers

ComCo SEA Digital and Multimedia Arts Officer AC Recio has been promoted to Digital and Multimedia Arts Associate Manager. Since the Agency’s launch in 2016, Recio has been honed to becoming the company’s content wizard for digital and social media, video storytelling, and multimedia arts. Truly a force to reckon with, Recio handled ComCo Southeast Asia’s key digital accounts like Platinum Karaoke, Pioneer Insurance, Dragonpay, SureTayo, Unilab Foundation, Defensil Alcohol, and Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz.

Recio won several Quill and Anvil Awards for his works “Move On Lang” songwriting competition for Pioneer Insurance, “Si Kathy at ang Kutostrophe” educational coloring book and “Kilusang Kontra Kuto (KKK)” campaign for Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Anti-Headlice Treatment Shampoo, and “Play Advocacy Week” online tool kit for Unilab Foundation, among others.

Recio, together with his team, is also the mind, and heart, behind ComCo SEA’s corporate identity materials to include branding initiatives for Citizen ComCo (corporate citizenship), Camp ComCo and Cody (ComDroid CSCC316) character, among others. An outstanding alumnus of the award-winning Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 1 under House Hawksbill and one of the first hires of ComCo Southeast Asia, Recio graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Bachelor of Communication Arts with Second Honor recognition.

Meanwhile, Executive Initiatives Officer Harvey Llamosa has been appointed the new role of Executive Initiatives and Integrated Communications Associate Manager. An exemplary and proud alumnus of the industry acclaimed Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 1 under House Bearcat, Llamosa, rose to becoming the Agency’s torchbearer and rock star for New PR and Smart Social. Llamosa, with his brilliant eye for current events, corporate news and social trends, has been heavily involved in strategic communications and business development for ComCo SEA.

Many of ComCo SEA’s biggest projects have been entrusted to Llamosa like the “Fun First Move” and “Screenbites” for M&M’s, “Reel to Real” campaign for SM Cinema, “Earth Hour” and “#AyokoNgPlastik” movement for WWF, “Social Innovation Challenge” and “One Voice” for World Vision, and “Red Talks” web series and “See the World” initiative for AirAsia, among others. His works have been recognized in the country and across the globe such as the prestigious Marketing Event Awards in Singapore, MarCom Awards in USA, PR Awards Asia in Hong Kong, and Quill and Anvil Awards in the Philippines.

Llamosa, together with his team, also spearheads the corporate marketing (mainstream and digital) and corporate citizenship initiatives of the Agency including the administration of the Camp ComCo Mentorship Program and Camp ComCo Alumni Society. Growing alongside ComCo Southeast Asia as among the pioneer members of the ComCo SEA Squadron and as one of the first hires of the company, Llamosa graduated from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila) with a degree in Bachelor of Mass Communication and was a consistent Dean’s Lister.

Camp ComCo Continues Talent Incubation

Another notable and proud alumna of the Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 2 under House Flyingfox is Queenie Resmundo. She steadily made her way from Apprentice, Production and Administration Associate, Senior Brand Communications Associate and now, to Senior Brand Communications Officer.

Resmundo has corporate and marketing public relations practice down pat as she has been managing ComCo SEA’s multiple flagship accounts like Electrolux, Eastern Communications, Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz, Jobstreet, United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), Angkas, Oakley and Reef. From these, Resmundo has earned local and regional recognitions from the Asia Pacific Stevie, Quill and Anvil Awards for her work in Eastern Communications and Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz.

Resmundo, fondly called internally as Queenie of All Media, also takes the lead in the Agency’s stakeholder management for media, influencers and bloggers, which has been recently branded as Ignite Community. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, no wonder Resmundo is at the top of her game, especially in public relations and mass media.

Another promising alumna of the Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 9 under House Hawksbill, Patricia Raña was hired as Finance and Administration Associate in 2018. Fast forward to the present, Raña, who provides valuable systems improvement and organizational and administrative support to the company’s operations, has been promoted to Senior Finance and Administration Associate.

No company is possible without organized and professionally managed finance and administrative services; she serves as the backbone that holds the Agency together. In addition, Raña, takes care of agency culture and team development programs and activities which help unify the team and boost professional excellence among ComCoys, the fun name coined for members of the ComCo SEA Squadron.

Raña graduated from the University of the East with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Financial Management.

Newest ComCoys to Join the Creative Rebellion

Under ComCo SEA’s newly established Digital Content Studio unit focusing on digital media, content creation, online publishing, multimedia arts, emerging platforms and special projects, comes new recruits to join the creative rebellion.

Choco Nery has been appointed as ComCo SEA’s Digital and Multimedia Arts Officer. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines – Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Visual Communication. Nery is ecstatic and ready as she embarks on a new journey with ComCo SEA.

Prior to joining ComCo SEA, Nery worked as a Graphic Artist in Travelbook Philippines. She specializes in multimedia applications, graphics and web design, and digital and traditional illustrations. Apart from her position at ComCo SEA, Nery is also undergoing the Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 13 under House Hawksbill.

Joenald Dycaico is ComCo SEA’s newest Web Development and Management Specialist. He graduated from St. Louis University in Baguio City with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. With years of web and IT experience under his belt, Dycaico specializes in web design, development, management and programming, multimedia and IT support. Together with Nery, Dycaico is also participating in the Camp ComCo Mentorship Program Cycle 13 under House Whaleshark.
