camp comco cycle 18 comco sea new pr smart social

Trailblazing communications agency COMCO Southeast Asia has announced the new batch of apprentices comprising the 18th cycle of its award-winning Camp COMCO Mentorship Program.

The Camp COMCO Mentorship Program is a communications apprenticeship program designed to transform communication, marketing and multimedia arts students and fresh graduates into revolutionary practitioners of the industry. With its intensive and comprehensive talent incubation sessions and industry linkage programs designed by COMCO Southeast Asia’s pool of experts, Camp COMCO has been recognized for producing high-caliber young communications professionals since 2016, including alumni that work in the agency today.

Now on its 18th cycle, COMCO Southeast Asia is thrilled to introduce eleven (11) of its newest creative rebels – or COMCOwans – to join its ranks. Selected because of their passion about the craft, hunger for learning, and the positive character to become elite visionaries to contribute to social change, these COMCOwans are also sorted into four mentorship houses, each named after an endemic and vulnerable species in the region.

Dianne Curray (Bachelor of Arts in Communication – Major in Integrated Marketing Communications) from Lyceum of the Philippines University and Jordan Chua (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) from Ateneo de Manila University for House Bearcat.

COMCO SEA’s Brand Communications Associate Patricia Entao (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) from Ateneo de Davao University, Charlette Inao (Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication) from University of the Philippines – Manila and Gjonn Lin (Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Business Studies) from De La Salle University for House Flyingfox.

Jia Jarin (Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication) from University of the Philippines – Manila, Angel Manzano (Bachelor of Science in Architecture) from University of the Philippines – Diliman and COMCO SEA’s newest Associate Brand Communications Manager Jessie Barrera (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) from Far Eastern University join House Hawksbill.

Finally, completing the cycle are COMCO SEA’s Senior Brand Communications Associate Camille Lisay (Bachelor of Arts – Major in Political Science) from University of the Philippines – Diliman, Brand Communications Associate Madelaine Durante (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) from University of Sto. Tomas, and Gabrielle Marcelo (Bachelor of Arts in Communication – Public Relations) from De La Salle University – Dasmariñas for House Whaleshark.

The COMCOwans’ respective houses will serve as their guide as they undergo the three phases of the Camp COMCO Mentorship Program: skills calibration, strategic communications immersion, and specialization elective. At the end of the program, the COMCOwans will be put to the test as they compete in House Wars to showcase everything they learned from Camp COMCO.

As COMCO Southeast Asia continues to celebrate its Sweet 6th year anniversary this 2022, the agency is all set to continue igniting talent through its Camp COMCO Mentorship Program and hone the skills of the next generation of communications trailblazers.
